The warm weather is here to stay and that means it’s time to kick off the season with our ‘warmer weather’ family traditions, which always includes a trip to Kings Island.
This year they rolled out something new, FunPix, and it’s pretty cool concept for all of you photo-loving thrill seekers. It’s an easy way to have your photos captured throughout the park, then stored all in one place for easy access to share your action-packed moments on social media, save them to your phone or send to your friends.
So here’s how it works:
A FunPix day pass is $29.99 or if you’re a season pass holder, you can add FunPix to your account for $39.99, allowing you to capture and save your park memories all season long.
Once you’ve registered and set up an account (which takes like … two minutes), you’re given a FunPix card that’ll have a barcode specific to your account. I suggest downloading the Kings Island app, because you’ll able to quickly access your FunPix photos right from your phone.
Or if you prefer logging in on your computer when you get home, that’s always an option too.
Before saying cheese for the friendly photographers around the park, you’ll want to let them know you have a FunPix card so they can snap a photo of it to make sure your pictures are saved to your account.
If you get your photo taken on a ride, just make sure you stop by the photo booth near the exit to have your barcode scanned. Because no one wants to miss an opportunity for a surprisingly hilarious photo, like this one:
The best part of this program is that the photos are unlimited, meaning you could potentially get 50 photos with your favorite Peanuts character all in one day; if that’s what your heart desires.
Here’s just a few more of my favorites … although it’s hard to top that little girl’s face in the photo from the Woodstock Express. We’re still over here laughing out loud.
Look at those eyes! Myles was SO tired, but wanted to give the day a thumb’s up. This picture though … it still win’s for the best of the day:
