As the warmer weather starts to become a little more consistent, I felt it was time to start officially thinking Spring. Those thoughts encompass everything from working outdoors to spring cleaning — both physically and mentally.
As for the ‘mental’ side of my quest to spring clean, I’ve been making sure to squeeze in enough time each night to get some personal reading done. My topic of choice is anything that can help me become a better person, whether it be ways to simplify things to tips on how to be more productive. I started to read “Time Management Mama: Making Use of the Margins to Pursue your Passions” by two sisters who are also moms who run a business. So far, the information in this book has been extremely helpful. While I’ve read other books like “Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity” by David Allen, I felt like some of the information applied more to business men and business goals.
For me, my productivity and life is not consumed by just business. It’s about organizing my life as a whole and understanding what priorities are for my many different roles as a wife, mother, freelance writer, jewelry designer and blogger.
By implementing the advice and knowledge shared in “Time Management Mama“, I think that will help alleviate some of the feeling I get of “Where do I even start?!”
Do you ever feel like that sometimes?
In other thoughts, here are some of the other things I’ve been thinking of and working on this week:

And, I LOVE this graphic I found and I used it to update my iPhone’s lock screen and screen saver. Sometimes’s it can be nice to just change up the littlest things.
My newest spring/summer jewelry will be added to the site soon. This is one of my favorites of the collection because the necklace is so versatile.
I’m looking forward to the weekend. With nice weather forecasted, I’m hoping we can squeeze in a little yard work between plans!
