My favorite train moment was when my husband took our 3 kids on a train ride in NE Ohio all by himself! They had soooo much fun experiencing a real train for the first time together. When I was growing up my grandfather (Poppy) was an avid train lover & collector with a model train set in his basement that we loved to watch go around the tracks and through his home made mountains, we even took turns pushign the buttons to make the whistle blow. My Poppy passed away when my 1st son (now 6 & #3 of 4 kids with 2 big sisters) was small, and he never did get to meet our 2nd second son (now 4). My 4 year old has an incredible fascination with trains and I can’t help but think my Poppy was sure to give him a little of his love for trains. He is a young man with special needs and his favorite thing in the world is trains–he loves the train that runs around the Christmas Tree and will ride the Train at Kings Island all day if he could.

He loves Entrainment Junction–in fact wore the braclet for days after his last visit, until they made him take it off in preparation for this latest surgery. He’s having a rough recovery, having to stay in the hospital longer than anticipated, and I know this would be a great reward for him. Fingers crossed for my little friend!!

  62. Stephanie Gampfer says:

  64. Christi says:

When I was younger we lived right by railroad tracks and whenever a train would go by my brother and I would run outside and wave at the conductor and watch it move by. One special time when we ran out there was a passenger train filled with people. They all waved and smiled and talked to us as they went by. It was so neat. Now I have 3 boys who have all gone through the train stage..my younger 2 still love to see them but my youngest who is 5 gets so excited when we see trains wherever we go. When I see his face light up it reminds me of my brother and I many years ago watching them go by our house : )

If you ask him what “special” place he would like to go, his answer is ALWAYS “Entertrainment Junction!” His twin sister thinks the activity area is awesome and they both like to look for the hidden items!

  67. Michelle says:

My favorite train experience took place a few winters ago, when we were vacationing in Florida with our two boys. There was a train that was “decked out” for the holidays. We listened to “The Polar Express”, made a craft, and had a snack. We traveled right through town, so there were plenty of passersby to wave at! It made for a wonderful family memory.

  68. Jen H says:

I took my 2 older kids a few years ago, but since I have added another little one. She is 3yo and is OBSESSED with trains! I know all 3 kids would truly enjoy it, but I really want to take my little Peyton! Thanks :)

It is always a great time when I get to see him enjoying himself and being around something he loves such as the trains at Entertrainment Junction.

  82. My son Parker has autism, so he LOVES cars and trains (anything with a spinning wheel). A couple of years ago, we took Parker and his older brother to EnterTrainment Junction to see the trains. We walked in and Parker was not happy. Its kind of dark going into the building so he was scared. But I showed him the Thomas train that was going around above our heads and he smiled and watched as we waited in line. Then we walked into the train exibit, and his face lit up the room. Smiling from ear to ear and eyes as big as the sun! All day and with every train he saw, he did the hand motion for Choo-Choo. At the end of the day, while walking back to our car, he gave me the BIGGEST (and strongest) hug ever and his eyes said “Thanks Mom!” EnterTrainment Junction gives kids with autism so much joy seeing all of the trains! So that day is very special to my family and I.

He has a Thomas the train table with every train imaginable that was made by my uncle; that has now become our family heirloom! This place would put a smile on anyone’s face young or old. Good luck to all those who have entered, including ME! CHOO-CHOOOOO!!

We would love to win because we have never been there before. Heard it was lots of fun!

  99. Magen says:

I used to play with my great grandfather’s train sets before he passed away. We spent many hours in his garage just looking them over and watching the run the tracks. He passed when I was 5 and I was given one of his train lamps that had the spinner inside and made the train on the shade look like it was moving. I went to sleep watching it, knowing he was watching over me on many, many occasions. The lamp eventually stopped working and a few years later burned in a house fire, but I can still close my eyes and see the colors and the smoke on that lamp… I obviously have a couple of very fond memories.. :)

  100. Mickey Oehler says:

My best memory of a train was as a child in N.H. we had a small tourist train stationed practically in our backyard. I made friends with the owners and got to ride for free as often as I liked!

  112. Brandi Harrington says:

Our family would LOVE to have these tickets! We have 3 little boys who all love trains. They rode the train last year at the zoo during Festival of Lights and haven’t stopped talking about it since then.

  113. Leah says:

I’ve never taken the kids to Entertrainment Junction, and now that the weather is getting cooler, it sounds like a great time to go check it out!

  114. Julie says:

My favorite memory was the display in Cincinnati at Christmas time. I haven’t gotten the chance to take my 2 young kids. My husband is suffering from an aggressive cancer and so we have little income bc I stay home to care for him. We don’t get the chance to do very much but this would be a blessing to win! We would all enjoy it and it would be great for the kids and my husband to make a special memory together!

  115. Sue Reed says:

For us, the best thing about Entertrainment Junction is the fact that the fun there spans all generations. Being from Great Britain which has such a big train history, I am thrilled that we have a place right here on our doorstep that takes something so traditional and makes it 21st century cool! Thank you for inspiring us to get our own train set for our boys and providing our whole family with the perfect whatever weather destination that is completely ‘unplugged’.

  116. AMANDA says:

Thank you so much for the chance! My son LOVES trains and I have been wanting to take him here. We went on a train ride last year for Halloween and I think it was the highlight of his year! Thanks again

  117. Denise Thomas says:

My first experience with a train was actually with my seven year old son when we took him to see Thomas for his 3rd birthday. He loved Thomas so much or so I thought. He is 7 now and is into angry birds and marvel heros but my two and half year old will probaly end up loving trains for a very long time. He can tell you every name on Thomas and friends as well as Chuggington. any time we get in the car to go anywhere we have to find a train track good thing for us they are everywhere where we live. He cantell you what all the different cars are as well. We wanted to take him to see Thomas this year or to Entertrainment Junction this year but we just don’y have the extra money to do that. I would really love to take my two year old and seven year old to see the trains I would love to see my sons face when we walked in and he sees all the Choo Choos as he says. that would make a great memory not just for me but for him as well. Thanks!

  118. Diane L says:

I would love to win a trip to Entertrainment Junction! I have 3 boys who love looking for the trains throughout the display and seeing all the different scenes. But most of all, they LOVE the FUNHOUSE!!!!! We could definitely use the pass before it expires!

  119. amanda noyes says:

We take my son every year for Christmas and he and my husband both go crazy. They are convinced that there are hidden things all over the place so they go around searching for anything that doesn’t belong. It’s actually really funny to watch. I would love to take them again, it’s a real bonding time for them.

  120. Angela McClendon says:

My family has never been on a train!!!!! EnterTRAINment Junction sounds like a great experience and a great first train ride!!! :)

  121. Michelle M says:

Our family’s first visit to Entertrainment was for a Moms Like Me party several years ago. Loved it! My daughter’s favorite part that visit was playing and climbing in the kid area.

  122. Risha says:

We have 3 awesome kids that would love to check out Entertrainment Junction! Fall Break is right around the corner, we would love to have this be a part of it.

  123. Carmen Piening says:

Last year for my 29th birthday, on October 2nd, my mom and I took the kids to L&M Railroad for the Pumpkin Patch Express. We had the best day! My 3 year old LOVES trains, and could not believe we got to ride a real one. We stopped at the Pumpkin Farm and got to ride a hayride and pick out pumpkins. The kids loved seeing the animals. We had some yummy hot chocolate before heading back to the train. It was a fantastic way to celebrate my brithday. After our train ride we had a delicious lunch in historic Lebanon, and then headed back home for cake and ice cream. Perfect day, one I will remember for ever!!

  124. Maggie Querry says:

I love Entertrainment Junction! My 22 month old twins had a great time watching the trains run. They got so excited when one would come by the window. I enjoy the scavenger hunt sheets as well it makes for a whole new experience and I see so much more of the exhibits while looking for the items!

  125. Jennifer king says:

We have never been and I think my 3 kiddos would love it. We can’t afford to go, so winning would mean we could do something as a family that we normally could not.

  126. Adrienne says:

I remember as a kid climbing up the ladders on an old caboose. It was fun to look out the windows at the top. My children have not been to Entertainment Junction yet, but I’m sure they would absolutely love it!

  127. Amanda says:

I have been wanting to take my train obsessed son to EnterTRAINment Junction for quite some time now! This would be the perfect opportunity to finally get him up there and watch his little face in awe! Thanks for the chance!!

  128. Elizabeth M says:

I’d like to win tickets so I can take my son. He really likes cars and trains and I think he’d love to go to Entertrainment Junction.

  129. Renae says:

My favorite train memory is going to my Uncle’s house for the Holidays and he would have the most elaborate miniature train setup in his basement. We would watch in amazement for hours! Fun times! I would like to take my son to EnterTRAINment Junction. We have never been there.

  130. Patty C says:

My kids, especially my son, love EnterTrainment Junction. He has been asking to go back ever since the last time we went. He talks about the train that goes around the tree inside. The outside trains are a huge hit as well. It’s a fun and different place to enjoy the day with the family.

  131. Jennie Lang says:

We would love to win! My favorite memory involving trains was when my father would take me, my sister and brother to the bike trail near Akron, Ohio. There were train tracks that we would put coins on and wait for the next train to pass and we would collect our smashed coins. I still have some of them and they bring back such good memories of family fun activities.
